Indoor Climbing Instructor
Become a certified indoor climbing instructor and take your climbing and teaching skills to the next level. This training programme is designed for experienced climbers with advanced climbing and belaying skills who want to teach both children and adults.
The preparatory course will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to safely lead climbing lessons on an indoor climbing wall, prevent risky situations, respond appropriately in emergencies, and provide first aid. You'll also gain a foundation in anatomy, warm-up and compensatory exercises, climbing equipment, and essential technical skills – in short, everything you need to successfully pass the instructor exam.
The preparatory course takes place 24–26 April 2026 (8 a.m.–6 p.m.)

The follow-up advanced course focuses on developing practical teaching skills. You'll have the opportunity to lead lessons in practice while deepening and reinforcing the knowledge gained during the preparatory course.
The advanced course takes place 15–16 May 15–16, 2026 (8 a.m.–4 p.m.)

The course concludes with a professional qualification exam. Upon successful completion, you will receive an official certificate in accordance with Act No. 179/2006 Sb. The knowledge, skills, and techniques required for the exam are defined in the Qualification and Assessment Standard.

The price includes professional instruction, the training programme, study materials, and climbing centre access throughout the course and exam. Accommodation, meals, transportation, and personal climbing equipment are not included.
Please register no later than 14 days before the start of the preparatory course, or 30 days before the exam date if you are registering for the exam only. After registration, you will receive an invoice and a registration form requesting the information required by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the Accreditation Commission. An official Invitation to the Exam will be sent to you no later than 21 days before the exam date.
